About Me

My Background

As a child I colored and painted with my Grandmother.  This was my early introduction into  art.  Through High School and on to College I studied art. Afterwards, I did the next logical thing.  I became a nurse! After many years of caring for others I have now come home to where my heart lives. . Welcome to Little House Treasures!

My Medium

I use many different mediums, such as  acrylics, water colors and pastels. I believe that working in a single medium is restrictive to my artistic process. Each idea manifests in its own individual style.

My Inspiration

My inspiration comes from Family, my "Little House" and love of times gone by.  I am most motivated by my Granddaughter who inspires me daily. For her I started a series of  simplified painting patterns for little girls called "The Puddin'Pie Girls". I am offering patterns for your children so that they too can enjoy the thrill of bringing their own Paintings to life!
